Northwind Retail storefront
A full storefront redesign that cut the path to checkout from six steps to three and lifted mobile conversion by 34%.
The problem
Northwind had outgrown a template site: product pages loaded slowly, the mobile journey was awkward, and the team could not update anything without a developer.
What we did
We rebuilt the information architecture around how customers actually shop, then designed a component library the marketing team can assemble pages from without touching code. Product photography was re-cropped to a consistent ratio and the checkout was reduced to three steps.
The result
Mobile conversion up 34%, average page load down to 1.1 seconds, and the team now ships new campaign pages in an afternoon.
